Tiny the dog was sitting on the couch. Carolyn's husband commented about the picture that the dog was not quite that plump. The dog rolled over on the sofa where she was lying and he had to retract that statement. Tiny, the beagle, was as pleasantly plump as pictured in this portrait.
In the 1970's, Carolyn had a oil painting studio in the finished basement of their new bilevel that they built in Delafield in 1973 in a new subdivision. This painting used to sit at the end of the hallway of her mother's house in my Bloomington. St. John in Delafield.
